Project kick-off

Research project for earth blocks

Berlin,

In partnership with Bauhaus Earth, we are working on a two-year research project focused on earthen blocks with particularly high compressive strength. Funded by the City of Berlin through the MPI program, the project investigates the optimization of regional earthen building materials through additives, process parameters, and geometric form. The project kick-off took place on January 15, 2026, at the Bauhaus Erde research workshop.

Arch. Competition

A new Park for Esbjerg, DK

Esbjerg,

The architecture competition around the design of the landscape park sourrounding the new International Quarter of Esbjerg selectively invited four teams to bring forward a design proposal. The design brief specifically asks to bring together public space, park, rainwater basin and pavilion into one coherent, in which the excavation resulting from the construction must be used as earthen materials for the construction of the pavilion.

Together with the danish landscape office FLÅK, swiss architecture office IN-SITU, and the engineers of ENVIDA and VITA a proposal was submitted. We are now waiting to hear the results from the jury.
